Nakaidoklini
(1845-1882)

Born a White Mountain Apache, Nakaidoklini visited Washington D.C. as part of an Apache delegation to meet President Grant. He was sent to an anglo-american school in New Mexico and learned of the Christian religion.

Returning to the Apache reservation, he became known as a medicine man, or religious leader. He revived interest in the "Ghost Dance", which alarmed anglo authorities and eventually led to his death in the Cibicue Creek conflict.
