Bloody Tanks (1864)
Anglo and Mexican settlers, together with allied Maricopa Indians under King S. Woolsey, contacted several hundred Apaches and entered into peace discussions. Conflict ensued resulting in some 24 Apache deaths and 1 Anglo death.
